Licensing Professional

Location: Avanci China office (Shenzhen)

Summary/Objective：

Provide detailed market research, contract and licensing support for all aspects of patent licensing operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS：

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1.Evaluates new opportunities for patent licensing

2.Builds market database and analyzes market data to support licensing operation development.

3.Assists in licensing operation and maintaining effective communication with potential licensees/licensors.    

4.Assists in evaluating the relative strength and applicability of patents in portfolio.

5.Assists in reviewing license agreements with the comprehensive summary and briefing.

6.Available as necessary to assist Senior Director of Licensing in negotiations with potential licensees.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1.Knowledge of some aspects of patent licensing, financial analysis, or legal in IP

2.Familiarity with high tech industries

3.Some proficiency in complex negotiations

4.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects

6.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

7.Must maintain strict confidentiality with company matters

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Legal required

2.MBA or JD preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

2+ years’ experience in intellectual property licensing
